Family Office in Rue du Rhône - Geneva

Bright and dynamic bas-relief for Family Office Geneva

Stairwell: the Matterhorn reinvented in luminous bas-relief On two floors, the stairwell houses a reproduction of the profile of the Matterhorn, an emblematic summit of Swiss identity, made of bronze tubes. This bas-relief, entirely modeled in 3D, integrates into its edges two LED tracks, warm white and cold white, individually controlled via Bluetooth Casambi. The originality of the device lies in its ability to bring the mountain to life throughout the day. Each edge lights up independently, recreating the effect of a sun rotating around the massif. Programmed on a clock from morning to evening, the lighting gives the impression that the edges gradually light up from left to right, like a sunrise moving until sunset. This light display does not stop at the bas-relief. The steps of the staircase, also backlit in dynamic white, synchronize with the chromatic evolution of the mountain, just like the recessed spotlights in the ceiling. The entire stairwell thus breathes at the same rhythm, offering visitors an immersive and coherent experience from floor to ceiling, from morning to evening.
