Industrial Design Process
The development methodology in industrial design doesn't resemble anything particularly rational. While the stages of a project are rigorous, the exploration of possibilities plays out elsewhere: in the grey areas, the still-uncharted spaces, where the vision of a form gradually emerges. A stance of open-mindedness, more than a pursuit of results. Like in music, where the silence between the notes gives the melody its full power.
Lighting design
"Matter is light, light is matter."One single idea, running from architectural lighting design through to luminaires created for major European houses (Artemide, Designheure, Linealight, AEC, FIAM, GRAFF). Each piece brings together innovative materials, a minimal ecological footprint and an understated, elegant aesthetic.
Global design
Design does not stop at lighting. Oppizzi Studio delights in exploring other horizons that nourish the creative process. Contemporary furniture, bathroom systems, technological objects, greentech pieces, artisanal object editions: Oppizzi Studio's creative methodology applies across the full range of possibilities. A multidisciplinary strength, through which its vision and refined perception find expression.
Ecotech design
In a world of finite resources, our stance must take a radical turn and embrace a circular economy of development, in step with the climate emergency. It is the designer's responsibility to push manufacturers towards production that is environmentally respectful and non invasive, since green technology remains double edged when it is not carried by a sincere approach. We strive to reduce the materiality used in our ideas without compromising on aesthetics.
Architecture
Mastery of space lies at the heart of Oppizzi Studio's work. Through comprehensive architectural solutions designed for commercial spaces, living spaces, exhibition spaces and architectural structures, the studio develops a distinctive and sophisticated approach, tailored to each project.
Art direction
It is, above all, a desire for sharing and empathy that drives Oppizzi Studio to work hand in hand with its clients, industrial producers, with the aim of strengthening their position in the market and elevating their brand image. After 25 years, the studio offers more than experience: a whole body of expertise drawn from its most demanding journeys. Never give up, believe in it with an unshakeable stance: a joyful and motivating gesture, but also a strong commitment, one that Davide Oppizzi carries with tenacity and determination whenever he takes on an artistic direction.
