It is rare for a company to be able to trace the steps of such a long history. Vistosi was indeed born in the last millennium, nearly four centuries ago, in the cradle that saw the birth of the most renowned glassmakers of this artisanal art, which has now almost disappeared. Vistosi is today a 2.0 artisan industry, equipped with one of the largest privately-owned glassworks in Europe, an internal research and development department, a workshop and a network of recognised and qualified local suppliers. It is certainly one of the rare companies where the entire value chain is controlled in order to guarantee consistent product quality. Since 1585, the year the company was founded, it has practiced its craft every day with the same passion, the same desire to experiment and to continue to grow. After its father-to-son transmission in 1989, the company paid even greater attention to the design of its products, presenting highly successful collections that were recognized with international awards such as the Grand Design Etico, the Good Design, the Red Dot, the German Design Award, the iF Design, the Archiproducts Design Award and, perhaps the most prestigious, the ADI Compasso d'Oro.
