A simple shower rod is the most economical product.

The more you upgrade, the more comfortable you become. Swap a mechanical mixer for a thermostatic one: you will have a constant warmth regardless of the use of hot water by the other inhabitants.

For more comfort, opt for a shower column, which includes a shower head and a hand shower.

The most sophisticated solution is the concealed shower column, which leaves only the fittings visible, but requires masonry work with a partition of at least 7.5 cm.

All current solutions allow water savings. With their flow regulators, less than 10 l/min is used, compared to 14 or even 16 l/min a few years ago. And for the consumer, the feeling is more comfortable, with very wide and enveloping jets.
